Commenting on the deal, Joel Goodman, executive director of Playdek, said that the funds received will be used for further work on porting board games to mobile platforms. In addition, the company plans to launch an online “hobby games platform”, which would give gamers the feeling that during the game they are at the table “in the digital space”. Also in the near future, Playdek plans to “mobilize” the Agricola desktop strategy.
