The number of players in Ubisoft’s MMO action game The Division continues to grow two years after its release. At the beginning of March, the project’s gaming audience crossed the threshold of 20 million players on all platforms. The game is available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The Divisions was a large and anticipated Ubisoft project, but the game ran into difficulties at the start. Three weeks after the release on Steam in March 2016, 57% of players left the title.
Nevertheless, the company managed to win back and increase the number of fans with regular updates and additions of new content.
“We are proud of what we have achieved over the past 2 years and would like to thank the community of The Division players for their feedback and support,” said Julian Gerighty, creative director of the project.
