The independent Steam statistics service Steam Spy suggests that fans of online shooters have become less likely to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive because of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds.

According to Steam Spy, the audiences of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds coincide by 55%.

According to the latest statistics, if enthusiastic fans played CS before PUBG was released:GO is 50% more active than average users, then after the release of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, the same players began to enter Valve’s counter-terrorist shooter 30% less often than ordinary gamers.

Steam Spy also points out that PUBG is also pulling active gamers from competing titles H1Z1, Payday 2 and Left 4 Dead 2.

The largest number of players in Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is concentrated in the USA, Germany and China.
