The authors of Township and Fishdom are preparing for the imminent release of Gardenscapes, a new three-in-a-row with an unusual binding for the genre. About this App2Top.ru representatives of the company reported.
The game was launched in softlonch in the summer of 2016 for a number of regions on two platforms: in early June – on iOS, and a month later, in July — on Android. During the “soft launch” period, Gardenscapes entered the box office top 25 and Top 100 of New Zealand and Canada, respectively.
Gardenscapes is not a new IP of the company. For the first time, Gardenscapes (also known in Russia as the “Marvelous Garden”) was launched in 2009 as a “downloadable game in the genre I’m looking for” for PC. In the original version, the user arranged the garden, earning money in the search for items to buy certain things.
In the new Gardenscapes, the user passes match-3 levels, for each completed level, the player receives a star and gold coins as a reward – they can be spent to advance the plot, to arrange the garden and buy boosters.
Recall, according to App Annie, Playrix has become the most profitable company among game developers in the CIS and the Baltic States by the end of the first half of 2016.
