Social simulator Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp from Nintendo topped the ranking of iOS app downloads in the United States seven hours after its release on November 21.
This was reported by the Sensor Tower analytical platform.
In addition to the USA, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp ranks 1st in downloads in the App Store of Japan, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Austria and Luxembourg.
In addition, the game is among the top ten most downloaded iOS apps in the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Italy and Singapore.
In Japan, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp managed to enter the Top 10 highest-grossing apps for iOS. Note that Animal Crossing is distributed according to the fritupley model.
Sensor Tower clarifies that there is no exact data on game downloads and purchases in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on Google Play yet. But analysts suggest that the indicators on Android roughly correspond to the initial results of the game on iOS.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is Nintendo’s third mobile game after Fire Emblem Heroes and Super Mario Run.
