The number of people playing the new online slasher from Ubisoft has decreased from 39 to 15 thousand people in just two weeks after the launch.
Moreover, in the first week, the outflow of the game base For Honor amounted to 18 thousand people. If this dynamic continues, by the end of the second month, the game will lose 90% of users.
One of the main reasons for the decline in popularity of medieval battles turned out to be Ubisoft’s own servers. Many gamers complained about connection problems and a long search for a match. The situation got even worse on the second weekend after the release, when the main game server For Honor fell out of access.
In an attempt to rectify the situation, Ubisoft returned the servers to service and arranged a special event with additional experience and other awards, but even so it failed to attract more than 17 thousand gamers to the game.
This has already happened with another major Ubisoft project — the audience of The Division shooter decreased by 57% three weeks after its release on Steam.
