Following Ouya, a console from Google itself may appear on the market. Wall Street Journal sources are sure of this.

At least the news of the day, which can greatly spoil the karma of the already not too successful Ouya – Google is going to the console-non-console market (as John Jordan jokes in his material on Pocket Gamer). Our colleagues from the Wall Street Journal are sure of this, referring to a confidential source, which, unfortunately, does not provide any details.

Is it a surprise, considering that Apple is also going in this direction, developing its Apple TV project and recently introducing support for game controllers on iOS? We think so. But the surprise is expected, given the experience of Ouya, GameStick, Green Throttle, BlueStacks, Unu and Nvidia, which is soon launching Shield on sale.
