The largest gaming company in the CIS is looking for a programmer to develop mobile games with an audience of millions. The specialist will have to work with an internal cross-platform engine written in C++.

Responsibilities:

  • programming game mechanics and logic;
  • UI and visual effects programming;
  • optimizing game resources;
  • profiling and optimization of the game by memory and fps;
  • working with the SDK of third-party services;
  • development of auxiliary tools (level editors, maps, effects, various utilities, etc.).

Requirements:

  • 3 years of C++ development experience;
  • knowledge of OOP, basic algorithms and data structures;
  • knowledge of technical English;
  • responsibility, independence, ability to work in a team;
  • game development experience, development experience for iOS or Android platforms are welcome;
  • experience in working with computer graphics, experience in Python development is welcome.

The studio is developing a fantasy game in the genre of role-playing match-3 — Puzzle Breakers. The project is looking for an artist who will be responsible for creating renderings (including the visualization of collectible game characters).

Responsibilities:

  • creating promo renderings of heroes, scenes and compositions for events of reference quality;
  • creating missing 3D assets (hypoli models and textures);
  • team mentoring.

Requirements:

  • ownership of Zbrush and any package for 3D modeling;
  • basic knowledge of riga and character skins;
  • experience in creating textures and working with PBR materials;
  • ability to set and adjust lighting for rendering;
  • strong composition skills;
  • the skill of creating VFX for rendering will be a plus.

Senior Level Designer (PC/console project) at MY.GAMES (Moscow, Russia)

The company is working on a premium platformer-metroidvaniya with shooter mechanics and bright 2D graphics for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS and Xbox. The project is looking for a level designer who knows how to work with Unity.

Responsibilities:

  • work on level design in platformer-metroidvaniya for PC and consoles;
  • creating room levels from design to assembly;
  • creating skill-demanding platforming sections (movement, timings, traps);
  • creation of driving combat encounters (ranged combat, spawn timings, wave tuning);
  • work on the overall sequence of the passage, search for gameplay vulnerabilities (skips);
  • playtests, level feedbacks of other level designers;
  • iterative fixes of levels after testing.

Requirements:

  • portfolio availability;
  • ability to work with the Unity editor;
  • understanding the theory of game design and level design in general, and platformers in particular;
  • experience in the level design of platformers is highly desirable;
  • great gaming experience in platformers and platformer-metroidvaniyah;
  • knowledge of the reference market on all platforms;
  • accuracy in work;
  • teamwork skills.
