RJ Games is expanding the team after the successful launch of the alpha version of a new mobile game. We are talking about Match Royale, a midcore fantasy role-playing game that is being developed on Unity.

Responsibilities:

  • development of the UI style of the project based on references and restrictions set by producers;
  • rendering the UI assets of the project in final quality, preparing them for insertion into the game (icons, buttons, fonts);
  • participation in the development of interface layouts at the stage of development of game features;
  • interaction with programmers, game designers and the art team to synchronize work in the UI direction and optimize this work on the project.

Requirements:

  • work experience in a similar position for at least 3 years;
  • availability of released mobile games in the portfolio;
  • knowledge of trends in UI design of mobile games, knowledge of the market and the best cases in the field of UI/ UX, features of creating UI for different platforms and devices;
  • ability to work in different styles;
  • understanding what usability is, the ability to analyze the audience and competitive projects;
  • love for mobile games and games in general;

UI-artist — Playrix — Remote Work

The authors of Homescapes are looking for an experienced artist who knows how to create interfaces for mobile games (from the design development stage to the final rendering).

Responsibilities:

  • design of game interfaces;
  • rendering of interface elements (frames, event windows, progress bars, icons, buttons, and more);
  • creating UI concepts for features.

Requirements for the candidate:

  • confident skills in Adobe Photoshop;
  • knowledge of the basics of color in design, drawing by hand on a graphic tablet;
  • good understanding of usability;
  • experience in creating 2D graphics for interfaces in the gaming industry;
  • a portfolio with examples of UI works in a casual style.

Design vacancy of the week:

Game Designer — Matryoshka Games — Novosibirsk

The developer of casual mobile games Matryoshka Games is looking for a game designer. At the moment, the company supports its main project Cooking Craze, and is also developing two more.

Responsibilities:

  • development of new content for the game;
  • development of new mechanics;
  • maintaining documentation;
  • working with a team — with artists and programmers — on new features.

Requirements:

  • knowledge of English is mandatory (correspondence, communication, writing documentation);
  • great gaming experience in casual and mobile games;
  • basic knowledge of game design (at least the ability to describe game cycles in popular mobile f2p games), understanding of various monetization schemes, etc.
  • developed communication skills (you will have to interact with a large team);
  • minimal technical skills.

It will be an advantage:

  • programming skills (in any language);
