The authors of Threes, Sirvo studio, recently released a free version of their game. Why – right now, when even clones of the title began to lose popularity? The creators of the project answered this question in an interview with the Gamasutra resource.

Asher Vollmer, the author of Threes!, the best iPhone game of last year according to Apple, yesterday, May 5, said on his Twitter page that his game was removed from Google Play because of the mention in the tags of project 2048.

Apple summed up the results of the year: the company presented its favorites this year, and also told which games were the most successful in terms of downloads and revenue. 

Puzzle Threes! it appeared in the App Store in early February (now the game is in the top ten of the paid top of the US App Store). Less than a month has passed, and projects have appeared on the market that almost exactly copy its game mechanics.
