Sirvo studio, which released one of the most iconic projects of this year – Threes!, announced the next game – a PvP mix of tower defense and real-time strategy Close Castles.
The new project is conceptually similar to LandGrabbers from Nevosoft: there is a playing field divided into cells. Each cell can have one of four types of buildings: a base (each player can have only one), a house (generates units), a tower (attacks units), a market (generates money). The construction of any building costs money. Initially, there are only enemy bases on the field. The player’s task is to destroy the enemy’s base by building a road to it from the houses, which, in turn, can only be carried out on an empty cell.
The game may appear on mobile devices, but so far it has been announced only for Xbox One. The latter is quite expected from a studio that previously created only mobile games, after the story with the authors of 2048, in fact, stole the laurels of the creators of the new match mechanics from Sirvo.
