Three months ago, a group of Russian deputies drafted a bill to ban the sale of smartphones and tablets in Russia without access to the RuStore app store. Their initiative is primarily aimed at Apple devices. According to TASS, the government recently approved this idea.

Foreign developers have begun publishing their applications on RuStore four times more often compared to last year. This was reported by the head of RuStore, Dmitry Pankrushev, during his speech at the Kazan Digital Week forum.

One-third of all developers in the RuStore mobile app store are game developers, VK reports. Currently, the platform hosts over 3,000 game development teams.

The mobile game Tanks Blitz has shown good results in RuStore. According to a press release from the RuStore team, users of the Russian app store spent 100 million rubles in the game Lesta Games in less than three months: it was released on the site on November 16, 2023.
