More contests for game developers! Cloud provider G-Core Labs has announced its own competition. It is focused exclusively on indie games with an online component.
Each of the five winners will receive $5,000 for building infrastructure (for example, for storing data in the cloud).
Conditions:
- the project must be online;
- the project stage is not fundamental (even concepts/prototypes are accepted);
- you need to submit the game for participation by February 10 (you can fill out the application here).
The winners will be announced on February 12. They promise to choose them based on the innovation and uniqueness of the project. They will also look at what results the developer expects from the project, what stages the course of creating the game is divided into, and so on.
For reference, G-Core Labs specializes in digital content delivery, hosting and security solutions. At its facilities work: Black Desert in Brazil, Bless Online in the USA, World of Tanks in Russia, World War Z in Asia and Albion Online in Europe.
