The Fortnite developer is not going to put up with the verdict of the judge in a dispute with Apple. Epic Games has asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit to review the case.

Recall that on September 10, Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers (Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers) made a final decision on the case.
She rejected 9 out of 10 claims of Epic Games to Apple, in particular, not recognizing Tim Cook‘s company as a monopolist. However, Gonzalez Rogers ruled that Apple should allow developers to use links/buttons to other payment methods in applications.
Epic Games is unhappy with this outcome. The head of the company, Tim Sweeney, said that they “will fight until they achieve genuine freedom for developers and consumers in terms of software, as well as fair competition in every software component of the mobile platform.”
Earlier, he also indicated that he does not consider the current court decision a victory for either Epic Games or users.
Apple has not commented on the appeal, and Judge Gonzalez Rogers noted back in May that whatever decision she makes, an appeal is “almost inevitable.”
