About half a billion users enter the Apple mobile app store every week. This was announced by the company’s CEO Tim Cook at the annual WWDC conference.
According to Cook, more than 20 million developer companies create mobile apps for the App Store. In total, over the 10 years of the mobile store’s existence, the authors of iOS applications have earned over $ 100 billion.
According to the analytical company App Annie, Apple’s store generates more than half of all revenue from mobile purchases in the world. In 2017, 66% of all mobile user spending in the world was accounted for by users of iOS devices.
