Google has lowered the minimum price for IAP and applications in 17 countries, including Russia.
The lower threshold for the Russian Google Play was set at 15 rubles. The price tag also decreased in Poland, Ukraine, Brazil and a number of other countries.
According to Google representatives, the purpose of the changes is to make applications more accessible, and to give developers more freedom in pricing.
Recall that Apple set the same minimum price tag for the Russian App Store in early July 2015.
