Search and mobile giant Google has demanded Android developers to declare the presence of advertising in their own projects.

Google Play начнет предупреждать пользователей о наличии рекламы в приложениях

From January 11, 2016, all applications on Google Play containing ads will be marked with an appropriate warning,” DROIDLIFE writes with reference to developers who had to receive an email notification from Google.

Before this date, all developers will have to mark its presence or absence in their applications in the Play Developer Console (most likely, it will be reduced to setting one tick). After January 11 next year, developers will not be able to update their projects without declaring it. Nuance: if you lie, they will remove you from the store.

A note about the presence of advertising is likely to be mixed in the same place where applications in Google Play now report the presence of paid content.

By the way, Google has previously introduced a similar label, but it was mandatory only for applications from the Designed for Families program. Now this practice will be extended to all content.
