Google has announced the release of a new version of the integrated application development environment (IDE) Android Studio.

In version 2.3, the functionality of the software package has been supplemented with improved support for images in WebP format, a new URL link manager App Link Assistant, the ability to edit the code of a running application without restarting it, and full support for the function of copying and pasting text in the testing mode of the program on Android Emulator. In addition, the creators of Android Studio noted the new features of the editor interface, which has become more friendly and intuitive.
