The G2A game key store promised to open the sellers’ data to customers and work more transparently in the future.
From July 1, G2A undertakes to provide detailed information about the seller to all buyers, including his name and address.
The details will appear on the website and will be included in the invoices sent to customers during purchases.
The store will also add VAT to the prices of all products.
In addition, G2A will implement automatic geolocation. This will save users from having to manually specify the country of their location.
“The location will be automatically detected using data taken from independent and reliable sources,” the company said in a press release.
G2A changed its work policy after repeated accusations of selling “gray” (i.e. illegally obtained) game keys and supporting game piracy.
The latest scandal around the platform occurred in April of this year, when Gearbox Software canceled exclusive sales of the Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition shooter reissue on G2A due to the poor reputation of the trading platform.
