Last year, the average American iPhone user’s spending on mobile games increased by 13%. According to the analytical company Sensor Tower, if in 2016 they spent $ 32, then in 2017 this figure was already $36.

Games are also the biggest graph of mobile spending. They account for 62% of user spending.

On average, all applications from one active American iPhone accounted for $58 each last year. This is taking into account IAP, premium purchases and subscriptions.

By downloads, the game category also bypasses all others. On average, 13 similar applications are installed on one device per year. For comparison, the closest competitor in terms of downloads is the photo and video category. It has less than 4 installations per device per year.

Just last year, an average of 45 applications were installed on one iPhone in the United States. This is 10% more than in 2016.
