iOS developers have new features. The App Store has officially launched the Custom product pages tool. It allows you to create additional pages for a published mobile application.
- The tool only supports iOS 15/iPadOS 15 and above.
- Each custom page can contain its own screenshots, videos and descriptions.
- In total, each application can have up to 35 customizable pages at a time.
- When creating a page, you can copy the properties of the main page and then make the necessary changes or prepare it from scratch.
- After creating a custom page, you can configure its localization.
- The pages require a review.
- Each customized page has a unique address that can be used for marketing purposes.
- After launching a custom page, the developer can track its performance in App Analytics. The Acquisition section will display views, downloads, repeat installs and conversions from each page of the application, as well as retention and the number of transfers from each paying user.
- In addition, Apple analytics will allow you to compare the effectiveness of a customized page compared to the main one.
Apple claims that one of the tasks of the tool is to allow developers to focus on different aspects of the product, depending on the audience of a particular advertising campaign. Simply put, Custom product pages makes it possible to promote the application simultaneously to different types of users. But another thing is also important: with the help of the tool in the App Store, it is now possible to conduct ASO split testing.
The tool was announced in the summer, and details about it became known in October. However, it is reported that it is possible to use it only from today.
By the way, Product page optimization (an A/B testing tool that allows you to test icons, application names, page color scheme, and so on), In-App Events (allows you to promote in-game events directly in the store) and more have also become available.
