Origin8 studio, noted for the Sentinel series, is working on a remake of Transport Tycoon for iOS and Android.
In creating a new version of the game, she is assisted by the creator of the original game Chris Sawyer, also known for the RollerCoaster Tycoon series.
This is so far all that is known about the mobile “Transport Tycoon”.
Recall that the legendary MicroProse released the original game on PC in 1994. The project was a very complex economic simulator by today’s standards, in which the player was responsible for calculating routes, building roads, laying railway tracks of an entire city.
The mobile version of Transport Tycoon will be released this year.
P.S. In 2010, a remake of Transport Tycoon Delux was already released, however, it was verbatim. The game was transferred to Android in almost the same form in which it was released 19 years ago on the PC platform.
