In the UK, they plan to strengthen control over the App Store, Google Play and other mobile stores. The government stated that they do not protect user data well enough, so officials decided to draw up special regulations for stores.
So far, the authorities have developed only a draft version of the regulations. There are seven key points in it. For example, they suggest checking every application for vulnerabilities. Applications may also be required to show what data they are tracking.
Now the government is interviewing experts — the survey will last until June 29.
