This was reported by representatives of Yandex Advertising Network (YAN). The growth in both the number of mobile advertising partners and ad impressions is attributed to active investments in promotion by app publishers:

▫️ in the first quarter of 2026, investments in promotion through Yandex Direct increased by 20% (YoY);

▫️ for comparison, throughout 2025, they increased by 36% (if we consider only foreign advertisers, they spent 2.4 times more on advertising last year than in 2024).

YAN representatives state that the growth is also due to the ongoing development of technological infrastructure.

This is happening right now. A couple of days ago, the company released Yandex Mobile Ads SDK 8, a new version of the tool for monetizing mobile applications.

This will primarily affect the size of the distribution package, which means a higher chance of increasing conversion to installation:

▫️ the weight of the SDK for Android will be reduced by 30%;

▫️ the weight of the SDK for iOS will be reduced by 15%.

For reference: Yandex's advertising SDK for mobile developers, according to 42 matters (Similarweb), is among the top 20 most popular worldwide (it ranks 15th). Considering that in the last year and a half the number of mobile applications in which it has been integrated has tripled, its position in the rankings by the end of 2026 may improve.
