Paradox Development Studio has reported 500,000 copies of the Hearts of Iron IV strategy game sold since its release in June 2016. The chief director of Paradox Interactive, Frederick Wester, stressed that the enduring success of the studio’s games confirms the company’s philosophy.
“PC remains the main platform for games of this type. Even niche genres find a wide audience if the creators devote themselves to the quality and diversity of the works produced, and are able to learn from previous experiences and listen to the gaming community,” Vester added.
The Hearts of Iron IV global strategy is dedicated to the Second World War. It covers the historical period from the Spanish Civil War of 1936 to the end of hostilities in 1945. As in other Hearts of Iron series games, the player can participate in a global conflict on behalf of any state that existed at that time. Source: Paradox Interactive
