Valve continues to enhance the reviews section in Steam. On August 22, Steam began displaying special badges on reviews written by users who have played the game "mostly" on Steam Deck.
The badge appears as a Steam Deck icon. When hovering over it, the number of hours the user has spent playing the game on the portable PC is displayed.
Reviews can now also be sorted by the device used by the player — PC or Steam Deck.
Example: A review by a user under the nickname CognitiveWave on Baldur’s Gate 3. In the upper right corner, the Steam Deck badge and the number of hours played are visible.
Previously, Valve announced the start of testing a useful review filter in Steam. It hides humorous and other non-substantive reviews, displaying primarily those "that best help players make a decision about purchasing the game."
