An amazing generation of consoles. Prices for devices and services do not fall over time, but rather grow. In August, Sony announced a price tag increase for the PlayStation 5, now Microsoft does not exclude its products either.
At the Tech Live event, which was organized by the Wall Street Journal, Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, noted that the prices of certain Xbox products will definitely rise.
“I think that at some point we will have to raise prices for certain things, but during the current Christmas period it will be important to keep them at the same level,” Phil said.
It is unclear exactly what products Spencer had in mind. He could have been referring to both consoles, which are now experiencing sales growth, and subscriptions, revenue from which is falling, according to the latest report from Microsoft itself.
