The latest achievement from Grinding Gear Games is another milestone. Path of Exile 2 topped the list of the best-selling products on Steam for the week ending December 10th.
This was expected. Last week, the developers of Path of Exile 2 announced that more than a million people purchased early access to the game. The studio didn't share the breakdown by platform, but it seems the majority of gamers made their purchase on Steam. According to SteamDB, the weekend peak online users for Path of Exile 2 on Valve's platform exceeded 578,500 concurrent players — ranking 15th in Steam's history.
Counter-Strike 2, which was leading the previous week, dropped to second place in the Steam sales chart. Following it is the Steam Deck.
Marvel Rivals — another newcomer to the chart — debuted in fourth place.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle started in sixth place, right after PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. Notably, the Indiana Jones game continues to grow its online presence in Steam. On the night of December 10th, it reached 12,138 concurrent players.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 significantly improved its chart position over the week. It rose from 48th to eighth place, thanks to the release of a Greece-focused expansion. The expansion itself took 23rd place.
Meanwhile, the beta of the tactical shooter Delta Force failed to break into the top 10. The game ranked 22nd on the chart.
