Microsoft’s Mixer streaming service has an opportunity to buy a game or an add-on while watching its broadcast through the Mixer Direct Purchase function.
For each purchase of the promoted content, the authors of the streams will receive 5% of the transaction amount.
Streamers will also be able to set up an object for promotion in their account. For example, it will be possible to activate the purchase option not for the whole game, but for its specific edition or DLC. This applies only to the content of the Microsoft Store.
A similar feature appeared on the largest streaming platform Twitch last year.
