Owners of Xbox consoles from Russia can no longer apply for warranty repairs directly to Microsoft. The Izvestia newspaper, with reference to the technical support of the corporation, reported that Microsoft had stopped warranty service in the country “due to the current situation.”
Microsoft technical support recommended contacting the store where the console was purchased, if necessary.
Microsoft has not officially shipped its products to Russia since March 2022. But in April of the same year, Xbox consoles were included in the list of goods allowed to be imported into the country as part of parallel imports.
