At a hearing organized by the European Commission, Microsoft made it clear that it still expects to buy Activision Blizzard entirely – with all divisions and games.
“It’s unrealistic to think that any game or part of [Activision Blizzard] can be cut out and separated from the rest,” said Microsoft president Brad Smith.
Recall that in early February, the British antitrust regulator recommended that Microsoft acquire only part of Activision Blizzard. He offered the corporation three options: 1) buy a publisher without Call of Duty, 2) buy a publisher without all Activision, 2) buy only King.
