On Wednesday, April 26, the British regulator is due to make a decision on the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard. Financial Times journalists expect him to approve the takeover.

Recall that in February, the regulator first published preliminary conclusions on the transaction. Then he was skeptical and offered Microsoft to buy only part of Activision Blizzard. In March, the regulator partially changed its mind. He said that the deal would not significantly harm competition in the console market, but could affect the cloud gaming market.

The verdict of the British regulator may be crucial for the deal. According to Bloomberg Intelligence analysts, two other key regulators will rely on the agency’s conclusions: from the EU and the USA.
