Epic Games appealed to the Court of Appeal in New Delhi. She said that Google violates the antitrust laws of India by not letting the Epic Games Store on Google Play.
In the lawsuit, Epic Games recalled that last year the Competition Commission of India (CCI) ordered Google to change the business model of the Android platform. In particular, the company had to allow third-party app stores to be placed in the Indian Google Play.
According to Reuters, Epic Games’ lawsuit may be considered in the coming days.
Recall that in the USA Epic Games has been suing Google since August 2020. The reason for the proceedings was the removal of Fortnite from Google Play.
