The confrontation between Apple and Epic Games is still gaining momentum, and some iPhone owners have already seen this as an opportunity to make money. Prices for Apple smartphones with Fortnite installed on them reach tens of thousands of dollars.
Fortnite was removed from the AppStore half a month ago, but those who managed to download the game before that can still run it. As a result, ads for the sale of Fortnite smartphones appeared on online bulletin boards like eBay and Avito.

The average price of such an iPhone with an instant purchase on eBay is $ 6,000. Although there are also copies for $ 10,000, $ 18,000 and even for $ 25,000. At the same time, in the section with auctions, the price tag starts from $200 – $300.
Most of the ads on Avito look much more affordable: a smartphone with Fortnite will cost about ₽100,000. But here, too, models with a price above average. For example, for an iPhone XR with a game, they ask for 2.5 million rubles.
Recall that in mid-August Epic Games launched a new payment system in the mobile version of Fortnite bypassing Apple and Google commissions, after which the game was accused of violating the rules of the platforms and removed from stores. Fortnite developers have filed a lawsuit against both companies.
