Another representative of gamedev is preparing to enter the securities market. The capitalization of Sumo Group during the preliminary evaluation of the IPO on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) amounted to £145 million.

Trading in the company’s shares is expected to start on December 21.

The Sumo Group includes the gaming company Sumo Digital and the digital design studio Atomhawk Design, which Sumo Digital bought in July this year.

According to the founder and head of Sumo Digital, Carl Cavers, the IPO will be “a significant step towards global leadership in the development of video games and digital entertainment” for the company.

Sumo Digital was founded in 2003. The company is known for developing titles for major gaming companies, including Sony and Microsoft. Among her works are Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360 version), LittleBigPlanet 3, one of the episodes of the relaunched HITMAN franchise and other projects.
