According to statistics, the expenses of mobile gamers in 2016 increased by $7 and reached $77.60.
The main mobile game of last year was Pokemon GO, which earned 86% more than its competitors and captured 11% of all gaming sales on portable devices. The second most popular mobile game was Candy Crush Saga (6%), only slightly behind Clash Royale (5.4%).
The average player spent $32 on Pokemon GO. The most expensive pleasure for mobile gamers turned out to be Game of War ($336) and Mobile Strike ($309).
The peak of sales of mobile games in 2016 fell on Catholic Christmas. The second biggest spike in downloads was caused by the release of Pokemon GO, held in mid-July last year.
