The Finnish developer Remedy Entertainment held an initial public offering (IPO) on the Nasdaq stock exchange on May 29.
“We warmly welcome Remedy Entertainment to Nasdaq First North Finland. Remedy is already the second company representing the gaming industry in Nasdaq Helsinki. We look forward to investors supporting the company,” said Henrik Husman, President of Nasdaq Helsinki.
Remedy’s market capitalization is estimated at €75.3 million.
As previously reported in the company, Remedy plans to use the proceeds from the IPO to finance and support its gaming projects.
The first public gaming company in Finland was the mobile developer Next Games, who created The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land strategy. Next Games went public in March of this year.
