The “console war” continues online: users compare the specifications of the future PS5 and Xbox Series X. The head of Xbox Phil Spencer shared his view on the situation.
In an interview for IGN, Spencer noted that for those who are now comparing the teraflops, functions and a set of games of both consoles, the price will eventually be more important.
“If you think about it, the cost is always a critical (important) factor. Perhaps if we recall the beginning of the current generation of consoles (Xbox One and PS4), the difference between them was determined not by games at all,” said Phil Spencer.
According to him, the high cost of the Xbox One compared to the PS4 made the latter more popular at launch. Recall that the systems cost $499 and $399 respectively.
