The Danish media company Nordisk Film has decided to invest €15 million in Star Stable Entertainment, the developer and publisher of the adventure MMO game Star Stable Online.
Under the terms of the deal, Nordisk Film will receive a minority stake in Star Stable Entertainment.
Star Stable Online differs from other games of a similar genre in its target audience and theme: it is aimed at teenage girls, and the heroes of this title are horses and their young mistresses.
Star Stable Online is designed to teach gamers to interact with other players in passing tests and joint exploration of the game world, according to Nordisk Film.
More than 14 million users from 182 countries are registered in Star Stable Online. The creators call their title the most popular online horse game in the world.
