In the first month of sales, the Lineage 2: Revolution mobile game earned $176.6 million from 5 million users in its native market.

Мобильная Lineage 2 за месяц заработала в одной Южной Корее $176,6 млн

This was announced last Wednesday by the developer and publisher of the game Netmarble Games. The game collected the first $100 million in 18 days. This is faster than Pokemon GO earned in the first 20 days in several countries.

During the month, 5 million people registered in the game. The number of daily users reached 2.15 million. The peak of one–time players is 740 thousand people.

Pulse explains the success of the project with the nostalgia of gamers for 30-40 years for the original title launched by NCsoft in 2003. They make up 60% of the audience of the new mobile game.

Netmarble Games is one of the highest–grossing mobile app publishers in the world. In terms of revenue for December 2016, it is in fifth position in the world (lower than Supercell, but higher than Machine Zone). Recall that Lineage 2: Revolution itself became the third in the world in terms of revenue last December, according to App Annie.
