App Annie has published an index of top mobile companies and applications for December 2016. The charts of the most successful games of last month included a mobile reinvention of Lineage II.

In December, the Top 10 companies in terms of total game downloads on the App Store and Google Play included companies such as Japanese Nintendo and Finnish Fingersoft. Both companies got into the top ten thanks to their latest releases – Super Mario Run and Hill Climb Racing 2, respectively.

The game was aggressively promoted by the App Store after its release on December 15. The app store, the first week after the launch of the project, gave all the big banners on the showcase to its advertising.

Sony entered the box office top ten last month. This happened thanks to the strengthening of the position of her Fate/Grand Order role-playing battler on both iOS and Android. Now the game is consistently included on both sites in the box office Top 5 in Japan.
