Konami company in fiscal year 2017 earned ¥36.4 billion ($319 million), according to a report by the Japanese company.

This is 47% more than last year’s result.

Konami’s revenues, on the contrary, decreased by 8% to ¥229 billion ($2 billion) compared to the previous fiscal year.

The main part of the Japanese company’s revenues and profits came from the Digital Entertainment segment, which includes video game sales.

The revenues of this sector amounted to ¥115 billion ($1 billion), and the profit was ¥33.8 billion ($297 million).

Konami announced 40 million downloads of the mobile version of the card game Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links worldwide at the beginning of April 2017. The success of the mobile game provoked an increase in interest in its desktop original.

Konami also noted that the Super Bomberman R game released on the Nintendo Switch “reached a wide audience,” but did not provide accurate data.
