California-based studio Scopely received $55 million from venture capital companies during Investment Round B to support further growth.
The key investors were companies such as Greycroft Growth Fund, Elephant Partners, Evolution Media Capital and Take-Two Interactive.
The main project of Scopely, which is based in Los Angeles, is currently a shareware mobile game in The Walking Dead universe – Road to Survival. Since its release a year ago, the project has shown excellent box office performance in the American box office top iPhone games.
Of the major projects, the company is also currently preparing for the world release of WWE: Champions – Free Puzzle RPG and Breaking Bad: Empire Business.
In November 2014, during the investment round A, Scopely raised $35 million. Thus, the company has raised about $90 million in total to date.
