The authors of the box office hit The Walking Dead: Road to Survival from the California company Scopely made a “soft launch” of Breaking Bad: Empire Business.
The novelty, as far as we can judge from the first screenshots and description, is the ideological heir of the shareware hardcore strategy Game of War.
A player within the MMO version of the universe “Breaking Bad” can build an empire (criminal), unite in guilds with other players, assemble teams of fighters and send them on missions. However, there were some innovations: the user also has to collect, pump and use the skills of the characters of the series.
At the moment, the developer of the game is Phase One Games, but this name is used by Scopely for test launches of its products. According to PocketGamer, The Walking Dead: Road to Survival was previously released also on behalf of this company.
Given the high popularity of the brand, the high profitability of the chosen genre and Scopely’s ability to work with both free-to-play and high-profile franchises, it can be assumed that the novelty will become another box office blockbuster of Californians.
The game is currently available in the Australian and Romanian App Store.
