In Australia, Christmas has started ahead of schedule. Manufacturer of slot machines Aristocrat Leisure makes a gift for itself. He is going to acquire Big Fish Games from the horse racing company Churchill Downs for $990 million in cash.

The Australian company is confident that the purchase of the developer of games such as Big Fish Casino, Gummy Drop!, Jackpot Magic Slots and Fairway Solitaire will have a positive impact on earnings per share (EPS) in the first year.

Board of Directors Churchill Downs has already approved the deal.

Recall that Churchill Downs itself acquired Big Fish Games in 2014 for $ 445 million (the company promised to pay another $ 350 million to the developer depending on the financial results of 2015).

For Aristocrat Leisure, this is the second major purchase in a year. This July, the company acquired the Israeli developer Plarium for at least $500 million (plus bonuses).
