91% of ID@Xbox respondents said that having a Game Pass subscription convinced them to try a game that they would not have been interested in before. This makes it easier for niche developers to find their player.

In addition, players are becoming interested in new genres. After subscribing, the number of genres tested by them increases by 30%.

“Game Pass, it seems to us, expands the horizons of users,” Simonetta notes, “because they say: “I haven’t tried horror movies in ten years, but you know what? I decided to play one horror and tried out this genre.”
