In December 2013, Kontagent and PlayHaven merged. A few months later, this conglomerate of monetization and analytical services finally got a new name – Upsight.

The combined company employs more than 130 people. The headquarters is located in San Francisco, but there are divisions in Portland, Toronto, Buenos Aires, London, Seoul, Tokyo.

Upsight Executive Director Andy Yang puts a special emphasis on combining the services offered into a unified product. The company has developed a single control panel that allows you to see how effectively your games work. The developers have also created a single SDK that makes it easy to integrate into any, even the most complex system. According to Yang, many clients are in favor of combining monetization and analytics tools.

Experts believe that small studios that previously had no opportunity to access Kontagent’s more expensive and complex analytical services will benefit from such a merger. According to Yang, the company already tracks about 500 billion actions per month from 650 million active users.
