Yesterday, Twitter announced the launch of a new tool within its own analytical service – audience insights.

Now the owners of Twitter accounts will be able to learn a little more about their readers. This includes their gender, education, occupation, location (within the region), preferred type of shopping, favorite TV shows and behavior within mobile platforms.

It is assumed that the new tool will be a good help in promotion. When launching a new advertising campaign, the developer will be able to use the novelty, among other things, in order to identify how many of them, for example, buy a particular type of goods.

In general, audience insights is seen as a new help in targeting. It will not change the situation in any cardinal way in the market, but it will allow those developers who microblog projects to better understand their audience. And this, you will agree, is not so little.
