Almost a quarter of all downloads of games in the App Store account for surfing in the app store. This is stated in the study of the Sensor Tower analytical platform.

It turned out that games are promoted through surfing in the store much better than non-gaming applications.
Surfing provides 24% of all game downloads, while for other programs this method provides only 9% of downloads.

The main percentage of downloads for games and applications falls on the search in the store.
In the case of games, it gives 59% of all downloads, while applications found through search account for 65% of downloads.
Another important source of game downloads in the App Store are referral links in apps. They provide 17% of game downloads. For non-gaming applications, this path brings 12% of downloads.
