As part of its own analytical tools, Fiksu now allows you to track the cost of installations between platforms.

The cost of attracting new customers is very important for developers and publishers. Sometimes it turns out that the budgets for attracting customers exceed the revenues from the game. This trend has an extremely detrimental effect on the gaming business and can lead to the withdrawal of many companies from the market.

With the help of the new toolkit, Fiksu clients will be able to track these changes (in principle, it was also possible to do this earlier, but now it has become a little more convenient to do it).

However, this is not the main thing. Something else is more interesting. Fiksu reports that in January 2014, the average cost of launching an iOS and Android application was almost equal.

The gap between platforms in terms of installation costs has also significantly decreased.

Analysts explain the reduction in the installation price on Android by 29% and its growth by 13% on iOS as follows. On iOS, the purchase of new users occurs immediately: paid, received an increase. On Android, everything happens slower. Therefore, companies that wanted to promote their program on Google Play used more expensive (fast) channels during the holiday season, and switched back in January.
